| Full description: |
Casa de Afufa means house of retreat and if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life to rest and recuperate, then this is the place.
Our house is an old Spanish farmhouse set in its own olive grove overlooking the lake at Iznajar, with vistas that will take your breath away.
Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace, sit back, admire the views and soak up the sunshine in this rustic rural haven located in the very heart of Andalucia; only 20 minutes from the ancient city of Antequerra.
Or, for those of you with a little more energy, float around the private pool and then dry off the easy way ... on the sunbed. |
| Facilities: |
The house is typically rural Spanish and has the original stone cottage attached, which has been fully renovated providing 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 are en-suite). With the major work performed by an English stone mason, the character and many of the original features, like the olive beams throughout downstairs, have been maintained and restored.
The new 11m private pool is now in action and is stunning, so you can swim, play and relax in complete privacy.
The entire house has been repainted and newly furnished, so it is clean and comfortable with big squashy yellow leather sofas in the lounge. There are 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, and a further twin bedroom (plus a sofa bed), dining room, satellite TV, DVD & surround sound cinema system in the lounge, kitchen with microwave & dishwasher, laundry with washing machine and another bathroom.
On the terraces there is a patio table, chairs, parasol and sun loungers, as well as a bar-be-que ... in short, everything you need for serious tanning, siesta-ing and relaxing.
The 3,500mē acre garden is full of fruit trees, nuts and plants indigenous to the area. |
