Casa Azul is our lovely old stone built home in the village of Albunuelas in the Lecrin Valley close to some beautiful courses as yet undiscovered by English golfers. The roads in this area are very quiet making driving a pleasure. There are 2 resteraunts in the village and many more just a short drive away. there are also 5 bars here and resident owners Mary Ann and Ken Silverlock are happy to serve either traditional English or Spanish evening meals from just £5 or 7.5 euros each.
Andalucia is simply one of the most beautiful corners of Europe. Its a land where the excesses of the 20th century seem not to have taken root and where travellers are genuinely welcomed as honoured guests, rather than as tourists.

The Valley de Lecrin (Arabic translation “The valley of happiness”) is at the heart of your holiday home. The area is surrounded by orange and lemon groves, vineyards and almond orchards, pomegranates, figs. olives and avocados.
The magnificent views are framed by the imposing Sierra Nevada mountains which give the area its wonderful climate by sheltering it from the cold northern European winds.
