The apartment has a south west facing terrace with furniture which overlooks established gardens and swimming pool. The twin bedrooms have ample storage space in fitted wardrobes and there is a safe in the property. There is a TV and DVD player and a fire place for all year round use.
Adjacent to the apartment is the complex of El Zoco where you will find numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is only a short walk away. Car hire is not required due to the location of the property. Easy access is gained via the N340 and E15 toll road. Malaga airport is only7 20 minutes away by car or taxi. |

LOCAL AREA
Calahonda is a an urbanization set in rolling hills and pine trees, with a backcloth of the mountains and the Mediterranean. This area is set midway between Marbella and Fuengirola in the very heart of the Costa del Sol.
The main shopping centre of El Zoco is adjacent to the apartment which boasts a wide range of restaurants and bars to visit together with plenty of shops and supermarkets.
Calahonda makes an ideal base for holidaymakers wishing to explore the numerous places of interest both along the coast and inland. It is also an ideal venue for self-catering golfers wishing to play a selection of the finest courses the Costa del Sol has to offer.
Opening up before you is a rugged coastline straddled by sandy coves and clean beaches, steep hillsides with old fortress towns, whitewashed villages bedecked by olive trees and the fragrance of orange blossom.
A day trip to Ronda, one of the oldest towns is Spain, with it's medieval walls, Arab baths and Palaces is a must. You are also within easy reach of Andalusia?s historical sights: Granada, Cordoba, Seville, whilst Gibraltar is a popular day trip.
FURTHER AFIELD
Travelling down the coast road to the West before Marbella is ?La Canada? which has excellent shopping facilities. Journey on along the coast and you arrive at Marbella with it?s high class boutiques. Walking through the old town with its picturesque narrow streets of small cosmopolitan shops you will arrive in Orange Square.
Journeying on you will arrive at Puerto Banus, famous for its marina and night life ? great for celebrity spotting! Gibraltar is approximately ? hour drive where you can stock up on your duty free and electrical goods.
To the East of Calahonda you will find La Cala, a quaint village with an award winning beach and local amenities. Further along the coast you will approach Fuengirola where the new Myramar Shopping Complex has just been recently opened. This complex boasts local high street names, together with a cinema where English films are shown.
Inland is the mountain village of Mijas with its donkey taxis and extensive Spanish history.
