The holiday cottage El Sequer, has been faithfully restored conserving original architectural features such as bamboo cane ceilings, wooden beams and terracotta floors. It accomodates up to 4 people in two double bedrooms: “Segaria” with its queen-size antique bed, and “Rectoria” with twin beds, both overlooking the garden and pool. There is a pretty bathroom with a whirlpool bath. Quality bed and bath linen is provided excepting beach towels. A spacious yet cosy living- dining room with sofas, fireplace, and TV – CD/radio player is separated from the open-plan kitchen by the original well. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and other electrical appliances. Cutlery, glassware and flatware is also provided. The cottage has central heating and air-conditioning. An adjoining utility room stores the washing machine, iron and board, two mountain bikes, child’s cot and garden and pool furniture. .
From the outside porch, under the shade of fruit trees, there are breathtaking views of the lush valley and surrounding mountains. The secluded garden, with its original barbecue area and private swimming pool set amongst orange trees, completes this unique setting where tranquillity and relaxation are assured.
Located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Benimeli, nestled between the foothills of the Segaria mountain range and the lush citrus growing Rectoria valley, El Sequer offers the best of two worlds; the tranquillity of a rural environment yet easy access( 15 mins) to 3 Golf courses ( Oliva Nova, La Sella, Javea) beaches (10Kms), coastal resorts such as Denia or Javea (15Kms) or other areas offering a wide range of activities.

Benimeli is a small village whose infrastructure is sufficient to meet the neds of both visitors and residents. The village has 2 grocery stores, bakery, butcher, chemist, Post Office, bar -restaurant and cultural centre. Only 7 Kms from A-7 highway exit 62 and 1 hour from Alicante & Valencia airports. |
