The area is rich in history with every village boasting some sort of archealogical find. Famous for its festivals celebrating the Moors and Christians, you will find many castles scattered around. Most notable are those of Guadalest and Sagunto. Near by, in the town of Gandia, we have the Borja Palace, home to the Borja Dynasty and many of the family's possessions are still on display. The surrounding villages host traditional street markets full of local produce and many family run restaurants. |
