This villa is, quite literally,the perfect base for a fabulous holiday. It is a newly appointed villa which has been built deep into an established and fully mature orange grove.
The villa has five bedrooms (but sleeps twelve as one of the bedrooms has both a double bed and a set of bunk beds in it) and has four bathrooms.
Downstairs consists of a hall, large salon, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a utility room, two bedrooms (one fully en suite) and a separate bathroom.
Upstairs consists of the master bedroom (again fully en suite), two other bedrooms and a separate bathroom. There are also, at this level, two large terraced areas - one overlooking the swimming pool and rear gardens and the other over the tennis court and side garden.
At the rear of the villa there is a large raised terraced area that runs the full width of the villa and offers shade from the midday sun. It provides a tremendous outdoor dining area and, for the downstairs ensuite bedroom, it's own private terrace area.
Externally the villa is surrounded by extensive gardens consisting of a mix of orange and fruit trees, palm trees, olive trees and a huge variety of other plants. Entrance into the villa's grounds is via it's own gates which lead down a long drive through orange trees to the front of the villa. At the front of the villa is a double garage. To the left side of the villa is a separate courtyard which contains an outside pool room, toilet and sink. The courtyard also houses a large built in barbeque and terrace with tables and chairs. To the right of the villa is it's own full sized tennis court, gardens and two further terraces for those who want to dissapear off for a quiet bit of sunbathing in the afternoon or to watch a set or two of tennis.
To the rear of the villa is a mosaic 14 x 8 metre heated swimming pool with underwater lighting and springboard. Attached to the side of this is a jacuzzi. The pool is surrounded by extensive terracing upon which are to be found numerous sun loungers, hammocks and tables and chairs. To the rear there are also a further two other terraced areas and a lawn. On one of these other terraces is to be found a separate hot tub and spa - great for star gazing on clear nights!
The villa is set in a secluded spot yet is only 15 minutes away from the coast. The views from the villa are spectacular ranging round from the beautiful Cabrera mountains, over to the old town of Mojacar and the Meditteranian Sea in the distance.

Fully equipped kitchen, including fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave along with juicer for oranges when in season.
Washing machine and additional drinks fridge in utility room.
All bedrooms have extensive storage space and wardrobes- in two of the bedrooms there are large built in wardrobes.
In salon there is a large wide screen television, DVD player and full satellite television service together with a CD player.
The villa is equipped with a high chair and cot for those with young children. |

The villa is professionally managed. Not only will you be greated at the villa, and be shown round it and have everything explained to you, but there will also be a welcome pack (normally including a bottle of wine or two - or a few beers)!
There is a weekly maid service which can be increased if required. All bed linen and towels are replaced at this time. All towels (including pool towels, but not beach towels) are provided. |

Villa la Vida is the perfect base for a huge variety of different holidays. For those who want a quiet, peaceful time, the villa has everything and you don't have to venture far. Within a short distance there are a number of well stocked, very good, supermarkets full of fresh produce (including a lot of fish brought in from the local fishing port of Garrucha) together with the old market towns of Antas and Vera.
For those who love their sport the villa offers not only tennis, swimming and Sky Sports but also a number of tremendous golf courses close by. Among them are the spectacular Desert Springs and Valle Del Este golf resorts - both about 10 minutes drive from the villa.
For those who want to venture a little futher (between 15 and 25 minutes away) there is the Vera beach coast, with it' s water park, the fishing town of Garrucha, Mojacar old town and the Mojacar playa. Within easy striking distance are a number of sandy beaches and a huge variety of restaurants, bars and shops.
If you want to drive a little further the cities of Almeria, Murcia and Granada are all driveable for a day trip as are many of the other coastal areas on the Costa Almeria and it's natural parks. |
