Casa Pintor is a well-designed villa with breathtaking views as you are swept by the mesmerising scenery of clusters of pine forests bordering onto acres of rich green crop terraces (mainly of grape vines) with various valleys converging together and forming a plateau that runs down to the town of Moraira. The elevation of the plot and house captures the most beautiful sunsets over the distant Bernia mountain range to the front. The villa is set, along with twelve other similar houses, in a cul-de-sac development well away from main roads and the hustle and bustle of every day life, yet is within 5 minutes walking distance of local shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Moraira town centre with its facilities, Marina and beaches is only a few minutes away by car. There is also a wide selection of superb bars and restaurants dotted all over the immediate countryside.
A short flight of steps, from the drive, leads you to the swimming pool level and adjoining sun terrace and garden. There is a store room that houses the garden furniture (sun loungers, chairs, parasol and portable barbecue) and the washing machine.
Accommodation - Another flight of stairs, from the pool level, brings you to the large covered terrace that looks out to the valley in front and is furnished with a dining table and chairs. Large glass patio doors allow you into the villa and directly into the bright living room with a very good quality comfortable sofa suite, feature fireplace with a working log-burning fan-assisted stove, Satellite Television*, and a dining area with a round table and corresponding chairs. A large feature fireplace has a built-in log-burning stove which is fan-assisted and wonderful for warm cosy winter evenings in front of the fire. Divided from the living room by an arch and small breakfast bar is the fully equipped kitchen with a good size fridge freezer, electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher.
Leading off from the living room is a small hallway and off this the fully tiled bathroom with bathtub (shower attached), vanity sink unit, toilet and bidet. Next door is the double bedroom with a double bed and plenty of built-in wardrobe space. Adjacent to this is the second bedroom with twin beds and built-in wardrobes. The third bedroom, which is smaller, has a single bed.
Outside - From the dining room there is a door which allows access to the back patio area, which is paved, where you will find further garden furniture and areas to sit out. Both this area and the pool level are totally enclosed, by walls and fencing, thus making it very safe for young children.
Central Heating - Oil-fired full central heating, with radiators to all rooms, is charged upon usage and the meter will be read upon the day of arrival, and departure. Full instructions at the villa.
Additional Deposits - a £25 deposit usage deposit (per week) is required for the heating, irrespective whether you will be using it or not. Villa heating during the period September to June. This will appear automatically on the booking form.
*Digital Satellite Television - currently includes BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channels 4 & 5, SKY Movies Premier 1, SKY Sports 1 & 2, SKY 1, Discovery and UK Gold.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These channels were in operation at the time of installation and could change depending on the service providors. We cannot guarantee which channels will be in operation when you are there.
The villa next door - Casa Vista, with its own private swimming pool, is also available for rental - same high standards and excellent views - thus it is possible to rent the two villas together if you have a large group, say two families, who like their private comforts. There is a connecting gate in the garden for use on such occasions.
Christmas & New Year - A minimum one week booking is required for the period covering Christmas and New Year, at the higher rental rate. You can arrive, depart, start or end your holiday any day. Extra days charged pro-rata.
